The summoning druid is a great starter, and great for transition into the endgame, you can stand your ground solo, and be a very valuable asset to a Dungeon group, where they would gladly welcome your meat shields with claws and your beloved Oak and Wolverine wisps. In Project Diablo 2, Summoning in general have received a huge overhaul, which has resulted in a increase in clear speed quite a bit, since your Grizzly now deals damage in a large area, and a total of 2 is able to be summoned at the same time.
